Dear Novi Community,
Hi, I am Dr. Kat Maguire and I am running for Novi Community Schools Board of Education!
I am the proud parent of a 2026 Novi High School graduate and for the past 18 years, our family has been fortunate to have the support of Novi Community Schools. During this time, I have been an engaged advocate and volunteer who has dedicated time and service to Novi Schools in a variety of ways. I am also a Communication educator and researcher who values listening and learning from others when trying to understand complex issues and find solutions that benefit everyone.
As a school board member, I am committed to:
- Learning which begins with listening and a genuine quest for understanding others to make sure all perspectives are considered.
- Leading with a servant's heart which means putting the growth and well-being of all students first.
- Working Together in partnership with other board members and the community to make a positive difference in the lives of all Novi students.
